A living being is a set of atoms and molecules, which form a very organized and complex material structure, and in which molecular communication systems intervene, and through this it manages to relate to the environment in which it is found, resulting in an exchange between matter and energy in an orderly way. A living being has the ability to perform the basic functions of life, which are nutrition (they feed themselves to get enough energy to live), the ability to relate (they react to the information they receive from the environment around them). And finally reproduction, whose function is to perpetuate the species or lineage.
